Staffordshire contains a huge variety of food outlets for you to enjoy while you are visiting the area, and no matter whether you are looking for a five star restaurant, a greasy spoon or a farmers market so you can sample some local delicacies you well catered for. The assortment of cuisines across various eateries in Staffordshire ensures that you will never have to go without good food, in fact it is more than possible to enjoy a totally different place to eat each night of your stay without things becoming repetitive or your wallet having to take the strain! Eating out in Staffordshire can be just as adventurous as walking the hills and moors each day and for many sampling a variety of menus and trying new and exciting food is a vital part of the whole holiday experience; if you live to eat rather than eating to live then you will be well catered for across Staffordshire!

Of course you do not have to be a "foody" to relax and enjoy the different food on offer in the region, for many of us it is a treat to be able to relax and enjoy a meal prepared by someone else so it is logical to enjoy this as much as possible whilst on holiday. Staffordshire is well served with a variety of restaurants providing food from around the world, and many preferring to use local ingredients in their cooking so whether your choice of food is an exotic Thai green curry, a classic
boeuf bourguignon or a "Staffordshire lobby" you can be certain that all of the ingredients were sourced locally and are of the highest quality.

If pub grub is more your style of food then you can rest assured that the pubs up and down the region will be able to provide you with an alternative cuisine to the many local restaurants and bistros. Of course we cannot discuss good food in Staffordshire without highlighting the importance of the local farmers markets; these markets bring high quality locally grown food to the masses and you will most certainly be able to taste the difference when you compare it to your local supermarket fare. Staffordshire farmers markets are leading the way in re-introducing the concept of seasonal eating and sustainable small scale agriculture and are growing in popularity with each passing day. No matter what kind of food you desire you can be certain you will find an eatery in Staffordshire that precisely fits the bill for you and your family.
