By Road Uttoxeter Racecourse is just off the A50, midway between Stoke-on-Trent and Derby. From the north or south take the M6, exiting Junction 14 and use the Stafford ring road. Alternatively, take Junction 15, follow the signs for A50 Stoke on Trent, then A50 Uttoxeter. The M40/M42 is an alternative to the M1/M6. By Rail Uttoxeter station adjoins the course. You can catch a direct train from Crewe, or pick up a connection at Stoke-on-Trent. Railway Station Airport East Midlands 22.4 miles (36 km) By Air Helicopters may land (by prior arrangement) at the racecourse itself, while aircraft may use Tatenhill Airfield at Needwood, seven miles from the course.
